While managing debt is an individual responsibility, UCCS students are ahead of the national average. Our students on average graduate with a debt load of approximately $25,500, which is well below the national average of $35,000. Utilize scholarships, financial aid programs, as well as on-campus employment options, to help defray the costs of your education.

Undergraduate students:

  1. We accept ACT and SAT scores that are included on high school transcripts.
  2. Please ensure the year of graduation is included on your high school transcripts.
  3. It’s recommended to submit electronic transcripts, whenever possible. Please send them to ugapp@uccs.edu.

Graduate students:

  • When submitting transcripts for graduate consideration, please email attachments to ugapp@uccs.edu.

Undergraduate students: 

  •  Learn about important dates, how to contact our Transfer office, as well as advice on credits by visiting the Transfer office website.

Graduate students: 

  • If you are under 23, your residency will be based on the residence of your parent/guardian.
  • If you are out of state, but believe you may qualify for in-state tuition, or would like to learn more about how to claim in-state tuition, visit the registrar's website.

Undergraduate students

  • We can’t accept registrants for orientation before an application to UCCS has been accepted.
  • Orientation registration will open ahead of the semester you're scheduled to start your journey at UCCS. Visit this website to learn the date your orientation flight has been opened: https://www.uccs.edu/orientation/
