UCCS Chancellor

Interim Chancellor Jennifer Sobanet

Jennifer Sobanet, Ed.D., became the chancellor of UCCS in December 2023.

Sobanet is a Coloradan and state higher education leader. Her experience includes positions at CU and other Colorado higher education organizations, state government, and the private sector. She most recently served as Executive Vice Chancellor of Administration and Strategy at the University of Colorado Denver, joining the institution’s leadership team in 2016.

Kathy Kaoudis

Kathy began her role as Vice Chancellor for Administration and Finance on April 1, 2023.

The Vice Chancellor for Administration and Finance (VCAF) is responsible for managing the university's financial health, allocating resources in line with the institution's strategic priorities, and collaborating with key stakeholders on campus. The VCAF oversees a variety of offices related to finance, including:

  • Student Financial Services
  • Controller
  • Human Resources
  • Public Safety
  • Facilities
  • Capital Planning and Construction
  • Parking and Transportation

Kathy Kaoudis

Martin Wood

As Senior Vice Chancellor for University Advancement, Martin Wood oversees several areas such as development, marketing, branding, publications, public and community relations, state and federal relations, alumni relations, social media, and strategic partnerships. He also founded and manages the Regional Connect university/community partnership program and leads the Cybersecurity initiatives for the UCCS campus.

Rame Hanna

As Vice Chancellor for Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion, Rame Hanna leads institution-wide efforts to promote diversity, equity, and inclusion, including developing and implementing strategic initiatives, facilitating educational opportunities, and collaborating with campus partners.

Homer Wesley

As Interim Vice Chancellor for Enrollment Management and Student Affairs, Homer Wesley is responsible for providing executive leadership to various student support services and enrollment management units. He oversees a wide range of departments, including health and wellness, student support and engagement, financial aid, admissions, and many others

As Managing Associate University Counsel, Amanda Hull is responsible for overseeing and providing various legal services, serving as a member of the Chancellor and University Counsel’s leadership teams, and representing the campus and university in front of legislative and administrative bodies.
