More About Tuition Classification

This classification determines the tuition rate at which you will be billed after enrolling in courses and is based on information the Office of Admissions had at the time of admission.

Non-Resident

Students with a Non-Resident status will receive the non-resident rate of tuition

Western Undergraduate Exchange (WUE)

The Western Undergraduate Exchange (WUE) offers eligible undergraduate students from western states and territories a discounted rate to attend UCCS. WUE students pay 150% of the in-state tuition rate instead of the full non-resident tuition rate. Learn more at uccs.edu/wue

Under Review

The classification of "under review" means the Admissions office did not have enough documentation to determine your tuition classification at the time of admission. The admissions office will email you a classification form to collect needed information. Email go@uccs.edu if you have questions.

Resident

Undergraduate Colorado resident students are eligible to receive a College Opportunity Fund (COF) stipend from the State of Colorado to apply toward tuition costs.  To receive the COF stipend, students must apply for the stipend at https://cof.college-assist.org AND authorize the university to request the funds EACH semester via the MyUCCS Portal.  For further information and restrictions please visit the College Opportunity Fund Website.
