UCCS ATHLETICS

Mountain Lions roar on and off the court

Athletics are a critical part of not just campus life at UCCS, but the university’s very identity. Both integral to our academic mission and a buzzing campus environment, UCCS is proud to support 16 NCAA Division II programs that have produced 85 All-American athletes and 23 conference championships. In recent years, UCCS Athletics has racked up accolades, and in 2017-18 alone, teams added three new RMAC championships, and Skylyn Webb celebrated a National Championship victory in Track & Field. Off the courts and fields, our student body is also engrossed in the challenge presented by athletics, with more than 2,000 students participating in club sports annually, and 8,000 students participating in intramural sports.

WE’RE A RESEARCH UNIVERSITY WITH STUDENTS WHO SUCCEED BOTH ON AND OFF THE COURT.
