Simulation Learning Center

The Simulation Center is dedicated to developing learner confidence and competent clinical judgment through the use of innovative technology and experiential education.

About the Center

The Johnson Beth-El College of Nursing and Health Sciences Simulation Learning Center is a college resource that uses innovative educational strategies and experiential learning to prepare students to meet present and future healthcare needs.  Learners actively engage with the scenarios to practice clinical reasoning and decision-making in a realistic setting.

Simulation realistically portrays encounters with patients so that students experience patient care in a safe setting. In this state-of-the-art facility, students care for our family of manikins before they care for live patients. In addition, students get to practice responding to emergent situations they may not encounter in their clinical rotations.

The use of Cisco TelepresenceTM, allows students from campuses across Colorado to participate in learning at Helen and Arthur E. Johnson Beth-El College of Nursing and Health Sciences.
