The mission of the Center for Critical Sport Studies (CCSS) is to support high-quality teaching and learning and stimulating research focused on the critical study of sport while enhancing the reputation of the University of Colorado Colorado Springs (UCCS) as a leading university in this field. Ultimately, we aspire to advance the critical analysis of sport through research that strives to make sport more democratic, accessible, and humane.
