Message from the Director
The Math Center is your space to study on your own, work with friends, get help from a tutor, or just hang out between classes. We offer walk-in tutoring any time we're open (see the schedule below). You're also welcome to use our computers, which have a variety of math and engineering software installed on them. The Math Center also offers peer-assisted study sessions for just about every math class, as well as for a small number of computer science and engineering classes. Check out the schedule on the Peer-Assisted Study Sessions information page. We're here for you, so please stop by and let us know what we can do to help you get the most out of your math, statistics, and engineering classes.
My office is in the Math Center and my door is usually open. You're welcome to drop in and chat any time. I'm happy to help with advising on math classes, or to talk about careers in math and your future plans. If you think you'd like to be a Math Center tutor or peer-assisted study session leader, I'm happy to talk about that with you, too.
The Excel Math Center is located in Engineering 233.
