Getting Connected

Most devices (laptops, smartphones, tablets, etc...) are now capable of automatically determining when an active wireless network is in range, as well as automatically choosing the correct wireless settings.  In most cases, the only action required by a user will be to first pick the name of the wireless network from a list (for example: UCCS-Wireless), then to enter a campus username and password.  If it's the first time a user is connecting their device to the UCCS-Wireless wireless network, depending on the device operating system they may be prompted to accept a security certificate.

If you need further assistance connecting, the links below provide specific instructions for various devices and operating systems.

If you have issues related to wireless connections you can call the OIT Help Desk at (719) 255-3536, or you can submit a ticket.
