Army veteran to share inspiring message. Sgt. 1st Class Dana Bowman will share his personal story of spirit and determination with campus at 9 a.m. Nov. 9 in the Upper Lodge. A double amputee, the retired U.S. Army veteran tours the nation stressing ability over disability. (More)

Forum attendees come away with shirts, ideas. Those who attended a campus forum today came away with black and gold “Reach Higher” tee-shirts designed to build enthusiasm at UCCS for embracing new approaches to both recruiting and retaining students. (More)

Compromise reached in Austin Bluffs truck route discussion. Colorado Springs City Council members are set to approve a compromise agreement that would allow medium-size trucks to use Austin Bluffs Parkway. (More)

Jeff Ferguson, professor, Business, was elected to the School District 38 board Tuesday. He ran unopposed for a seat on the board that directs public schools serving Monument, Palmer Lake, Woodmoor and Black Forest.
