How do I use my LionOne Card to ride the bus/pay my fare?

Step 1 - Board the bus and swipe your card on the card reader next to the driver.

Step 2 - Listen for a tone.

Step 3 - Have a seat and enjoy the ride.

Please show your CollegePass to the bus driver, if requested.

Do I need to swipe my card when I exit the bus?

No, you do not need to slide your card when exiting the bus.

My card keeps failing when I try to ride the bus. What do I do?

If you have graduated, or are not a currently registered student, your card was deactivated and you are not eligible for the College Pass Program. If your card does not work as expected, contact the Information Desk at the University Center or by phone at (719) 255-3450.

The MMT driver will still allow you to ride for that trip.

What if my LionOne Card is lost or stolen?

Without your LionOne Card, you will be required to pay bus fares to ride the bus.  Please replace your card as soon as possible at the Information Desk in the University Center. The replacement fee is $15 and this covers our cost of the card, printing, and administration. Just like a credit card, you are only allowed to have one valid card at a time. We will take care of permanently deactivating your previous pass and assigning your new pass.

What if my LionOne Card is damaged?

Please replace your card as soon as possible at the Information Desk in the University Center. The replacement fee is waived if you bring your damaged or weathered card with you to the Info Desk. Just like a credit card, you are only allowed to have one valid card at a time. We will take care of permanently deactivating your previous pass and assigning your new pass.
