Natalie joins the Green Action Fund team with passion and enthusiasm. She is currently completing her undergraduate degree in Geography and Environmental Studies at the University of Colorado Colorado Springs and set to begin the Master’s program in Applied Geography Summer of 2018. Natalie is eager to learn, grow and education others along the way. After stepping foot into the mountains for the first time at age sixteen, her love for the natural environment began to blossom. A mere two weeks after this first encounter, she headed out for a 28-day wilderness trip in Gila National Forest. This is when she knew, the green life was for her! Having experience as a seasonal Park Ranger at Rocky Mountain National Park for three seasons further exposed her to the great outdoors and her captivating connection with Mother Nature was ignited yet again. Natalie is passionate about sustainable and environmental education. Experience as an Eco-Leader has prepared her to take on the logistical duties of her position as the Green Action Fund Project Coordinator while her experience as a Park Ranger prepared her for the creative and educational components of her job.
She adores her twin boys, camping, hiking, reading, traveling, and trying new things. The wilderness is her happiest place and this is where she finds balance from a busy, yet fulfilling life.
