The Office of Equity, Diversity & Inclusion would like to thank our student workers, Sky Gorgonio-Wong and Ariel McPherson, for their hard work and dedication to our office. They are both wonderful to work with, highly self-motivated, and always willing to help where needed with kindness and a smile. They have been instrumental in helping to start the Student Diversity Assembly, assisting with large-scale and small-scale events, and helping us with research-oriented tasks.

Alicia - I'm saddened that we don't get to see each other in the Office during your final semester. Congratulations on your graduation - I have no doubt that you will accomplish amazing things in life!  Your time in our office as a CSA and then as an imaging assistant has allowed us to get to know you over the years.  Not seeing you during this pandemic and then not seeing you due to graduation is so hard.  Your smile lights up our area and your energy and enthusiasm are contagious.  I wish you all the best the future holds for you.  We'll need to get together and celebrate once this passes. -Brooke

Hi Alycia, Well it is that time of year were we formally thank our student employees. I hope that you know how much I appreciate you the rest of the year but in case you need a reminder of how awesome you are: Our ENTIRE office appreciates all the work you do so very much! I am so thankful to have gotten to know you better over these years. You have been someone I can lean on both professionally and personally. It makes my heart so sad to know you will be leaving soon and entering the next chapter of your life and yet, I couldn’t be more excited for you!
