Stephanie joined UCCS in 2014 and is a program assistant working with the Departments of Political Science and Economics. She served a one-year term as a Classified Staff Member-At-Large on the Staff Association Executive Board in 2015-2016 and has been a member on the Classified Staff Pay and Benefits Committee for the past two years. Stephanie values the classified staff role and is interested in learning about all of the concerns and challenges of the various different positions on this campus. She especially wants classified staff to know they are central to the successful growth of the university and should be valued for the contributions they make in their various roles. Outside of work, Stephanie enjoys spending time with her daughters, riding motorcycle with her husband, and will be applying to the Masters in Public Administration (Grant writing certificate) program from the School of Public Affairs here at UCCS. She intends to utilize the Tuition Waiver Benefit that is open to each (full-time) staff member allowing them to waive tuition for up to 9 credits each year – including graduate credits.
