Ryan joined UCCS in September 2014 as a temporary Front Office Assistant for the Office of Disability Services and University Testing Center. They liked her so much (yay!) that in January of 2015, she was offered the position of Front Office and Testing Specialist as a classified staff member (and accepted). In this position, she oversees the front office for both Disability Services and University Testing along with two student employees. She is the first point of contact for current students and families, perspective students and families, faculty and staff. She manages all of the office calendars/computers. She coordinates testing accommodations for students with disabilities, proctor, prepare, log and deliver exams for professors, disabled and non-disabled students on campus. In November 2017, she joined the Professional Development Committee of Student Success as the co-chair. She collaborates with committee members, generates the agenda and host meetings alternating with the co-chair, records the proceedings, prepares and distributes meeting summaries, manages the committee email account and website. She graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Sociology from the University of Colorado Colorado Springs in spring of 2013. She has a great passion for working with students, faculty and staff. She hopes to learn more about the University and build relationships within UCCS!
