Bachelor of Arts in Criminal Justice (BACJ)

The Bachelor of Arts in Criminal Justice (BACJ) program utilizes an interdisciplinary approach to capture both the academic liberal arts emphasis and the professional and policy knowledge required to educate criminal justice professionals.  This program can be completed online, on campus, or a combination of both. 

BACJ Online Completion Program

The Bachelor of Arts in Criminal Justice (BACJ) online completion program is designed for those students who have already earned an Associates degree in Criminal Justice.  Students transferring in with an Associates degree in Criminal Justice have the ability to complete the Bachelor of Arts in Criminal Justice completely online.  Transfer students also have the option to complete the program on campus or mix online and on campus courses.

Minor in Criminal Justice

Students who obtain a minor in Criminal Justice will be able to understand the social and behavioral contributors to crime and understand the major components of the criminal justice system.  The minor consists of 18 credit hours.  The minor in Criminal Justice can be completed online, on campus, or a combination of both.

Accelerated Master's Program in Criminal Justice

The Accelerated Master's Program (AMP) in Criminal Justice is designed to allow students to work concurrently toward the Bachelor of Arts in Criminal Justice (BACJ) and the Master of Criminal Justice (MCJ).  The Accelerated Master's Program can be completed online, on campus, or a combination of both. Interested students should meet with their undergraduate advisor, as well as the MCJ program director, Dr. Jon Caudill, before submitting the Intent Form.  For more information, and to complete the Intent Form, please click here. 

Dual Bachelor of Arts in Criminal Justice and Psychology

The dual program in Criminal Justice and Psychology is designed to make it easier for students to complete these two majors (in the School of Public Affairs and the College of Letters, Arts, and Sciences, respectively). Please see the Advising Guide for more information.

Dual Bachelor of Arts in Criminal Justice and Sociology

The dual degree program in Criminal Justice and Sociology is designed to make it easier for students to complete these two majors (in the School of Public Affairs and the College of Letters, Arts, and Sciences, respectively).
