Heather Albanesi, Ph.D.
Dr. Albanesi is an Associate Professor at the University of Colorado Colorado Springs
She was the Graduate Director of the MA program in Sociology from 2006-2013 and continues to be very involved with the Master's program. Dr. Albanesi received her Ph.D. (2001) in Sociology from the University of California at Berkeley. She received her M.A. from the University of California at Berkeley and completed her undergraduate studies at Wesleyan University in Middletown, Connecticut. Research interests include gender, disability, education, heterosexuality and religion. She currently teaches both graduate and undergraduate courses in social theory, sexuality, gender, class stratification, religion, disability and culture.
