soapweed yucca, Yucca glauca:  1992 - 2018.  (Aller et al., 2009)  McKay (1983) describes on page 148 the yucca population being exhausted by the Navaho women who resided in Cragmor Hall in 1954.  They were using them for soap, oils and shampoo.

oneseed juniper, Juniperus monosperma 1992 - 2017.  (Aller et al., 2009)  Some possibly from cultivation in the 1920's  when McKay (1983) refers to landscaping of MH.  Also oneseed junipers are seen in early photos.  The trees south of the Public Safety/parking garage building landscaped from the Bennett house.
Rocky Mountain juniper, Juniperus scopulorum (Aller et al., 2009), 1992 - 2014.  Some possibly coming from cultivation.

saltcedar, Tamarix ramosissima 2003.  As a seedling trying to grow in a ditch in the built up, wet area.

 

Typhaceae - cat-tail family
narrow-leaved cattail, Typha angustifolia 2003 - 2013. 

 

Ulmaceae - elm Family
Siberian elm, Ulmus pumila:  1992 - 2017.  Common invasive.  Possibly from cultivation in the 1920's  when McKay (1983) refers to all the landscaping done and elms are seen in early photos. This was a common tree planted in non-irrigated areas during this era. 

 

Verbenaceae - verbena family
bigbract vervain, Verbena bracteata.  1992 - 2017.  Common weed in build up areas.

 

Viscaceae - Christmas mistletoe family
pineland dwarf mistletoe, Arceuthobium vaginatum. 2003.

 

Vitaceae - grape family
Virginia creeper, Parthenocissus quinquefolia.  2003  Possibly escaped from cultivation McKay 1983 page 96 refers to "ivy-trimmed walls" around 1925 and early photos show Virgina creeper.

 

Zygophyllaceae - Creosote-bush family
puncturevine, Tribulus terrestris. 2003 - 2018.  Colorado noxious weed species.
