Yes, we do have private and semi-private bathrooms. It’s one of the first questions students ask. All of our floor plans have either private bathrooms or baths shared by a maximum of six suite-mates. Students say our suite-style living offers the perfect mix of privacy with the opportunity to study, play, relax and meet friends.

If you are a freshman or an upper classman wanting the traditional residential experience, look at the Summit Village or Village at Alpine Valley Residence Halls. If you are over 21, an international student or are transferring in with 30 or more credits, check out the Alpine Village Apartments.

  • Summit Village

Everything you need is less than a five minute walk from the Summit Village. Going to class, a campus concert, to study, to eat or shop is as simple as putting on your shoes. The Summit Village is home to freshmen and other students who enjoy the traditional residence hall experience. The village was constructed with a ski theme, and buildings are named after popular Colorado ski resorts. Enjoy programs, entertainment and support you won’t find at an off campus apartment. This housing village closes during winter break, though students may leave belongings in their room during that time.

  • Village at Alpine Valley Residence Halls

These brand new residence halls opened in fall 2015.  These new residence halls feature a large community lounge area on every floor to allow for the ability to better connect with other students on your floor, as well as a great place to study and enjoy the gorgeous views of Pikes Peak and Garden of the Gods. This housing village closes during winter break, though students may leave belongings in their room during that time.

  • Alpine Village Apartments

Want the features and freedom of apartment living with the activities and convenience that you would expect from traditional on-campus housing? This apartment community is nestled at the foot of the scenic Austin Bluffs hillside with easy access to hiking and the new campus Recreation Center. Designed specifically for our Sophomore through Graduate Student population, Alpine offers fun programming designed to help you meet your neighbors, succeed in school, and move on to life after UCCS. All apartments are furnished with a basic furniture package. This housing village remains open during winter break; residents are not required to move out during this time unless they are not returning for the following Spring semester.
