Options for the Summit Village Residence Halls and Village at Alpine Valley Residence Halls

A Meal Plan is required and included in the Room/Board Package Price for all students living in first year designated housing areas. Your meal plan information and Flex Dollars will be loaded onto your Mountain Lion Student I.D. Card.

Students living in any of the designated first-year housing areas listed above will be given the Anytime, Unlimited Meal Plan. This meal plan allows the meal plan holder to eat in either The Lodge or Roaring Fork dining halls as often as he/she may like, and includes 10 guest meal swipes per academic year which also can be used at either hall. This plan also comes with $50 flex dollars that can be used at any other food venue on campus, including Café 65, Clyde's, and any Sanatorium Grounds coffee location. When using your flex dollars you must inform the cashier that this is your payment method. Flex dollars CANNOT be used for alcoholic beverage purchases in Clyde's. All meals and flex dollars expire at the end of the each Academic Year.

Options for Alpine Village Apartment Residents, Commuter Students, and Faculty/Staff

A meal plan is optional for apartment students (Crestone, Shavano, and Antero) as all apartments have kitchens. Many Alpine residents decide to have a meal plan because it is convenient and allows easy access to food options on busy class days. Commuter students can also select the meal plans below if they would like to enjoy the convenience of eating on campus! Faculty and staff can purchase the meal plans below as well at the University Center Front Desk. Meals and flex dollars expire at the end of each academic year.

Anytime, Unlimited Meal Plan.
Cost*: $1650 per Semester

  •  Anytime Dining: This Plan includes unlimited access to Roaring Fork or The Lodge dining halls during operating hours for the meal plan contract holder, anytime we're open, any number of times a day, and enjoy anything we're serving. That's it; anywhere, anytime, and as many visits as you want! All meals expire at the end of the each semester.
  •  Flex Dollars are part of our Anytime Dining Plan. Flex Dollars are accepted in all Dining Services locations - The Lodge, Roaring Fork, Clyde's Gastropub, Café 65, and any Sanatorium Grounds locations. When using your flex dollars you must inform the cashier that this is your payment method. Flex dollars CANNOT be used for alcoholic beverage purchases in Clyde's. Flex dollars expire at the end of the each semester.
  • Guest passes: every Anytime Dining Plan includes 10 guest passes per semester. These can be used to bring a guest into the dining halls. Alternately, guests are welcome to pay at the door using credit or debit.
  • The dining hall door price for UCCS community members is Breakfast: $6.75, Lunch $8.25, Dinner $8.25 and Special Event $12.95.

55 Meals + $250 Flex Dollars Per Academic Year
Cost*: $625
Offers 55 meals per Academic Year at the Lodge or Roaring Fork and $250/Academic Year in Flex Dollars to spend at other dining areas. This equates to $6.82 per meal.

75 Meals Per Academic Year
Cost*: $495
Offers 75 meals per Academic Year at The Lodge or Roaring Fork. This equates to $6.60 per meal.

30 Meals Per Academic Year 
Cost*: $210
Offers 30 meals per Academic Year at The Lodge or Roaring Fork. This equates to $7.00 per meal.

Summer 2017 Meal Plans For Students, Faculty, and Staff
Meal swipes can be used any time that Roaring Fork Dining Hall is open for regular summer conference meals. Call 719-255-3966 for available meal periods. Meals expire after the close of summer conferences, which is typically the first week of August. Remaining meals are NOT refunded. You can also purchase any of the larger commuter plans, but meals expire at the same time as those for summer.

20 Meals for the Summer
Cost: $135
This equates to $6.75 per meal

10 Meals for the Summer
Cost: $70
This equates to $7.00 per meal

Campus cash prices (UCCS ID holders and guests) at both The Lodge and Roaring Fork are:

The form below is submitted to staff in the Office of Residence Life and Housing. Once processed, the meal plan or Clyde’s Cash requested will be loaded onto your student ID card and charged to your student account. If you wish to pay directly with a credit card or other form of payment for Clyde’s Cash, please stop by the University Center Information Desk.

Please allow up to three business days for the request to take place and please be aware that this may take longer at the beginning of each semester due to high demand of meal plan requests.

Commuter Student Meal Plan Policy
 
1.      You must have a valid UCCS One Card to sign up for and use a Commuter Meal Plan.
2.      Meal plans are valid from the day of contract sign up and end with the last meal served on the last day of the academic semester.
3.      You may dine in either The Lodge or Roaring Fork Dining Halls, subject to hours of operation. If your plan also includes Flex Dollars, these funds can be used in any dining location, subject to hours of operation.
4.      Commuter Meal Plans are non-transferable. Any violation will result in a fee for misuse and/or the immediate termination of the meal plan.
5.      Commuter Meal Plans can be cancelled prior to expiration with a $25 processing fee. Unused meals after the date of cancellation will be prorated using the daily rate and refunded back to the student. This applies only to students who remain enrolled at UCCS.
6.      Meals and/or Flex Dollars are forfeited if you leave UCCS.
7.      You can stack Commuter Meal Plans during a semester to meet your needs.  Unused meals and/or Flex Dollars do not roll over to the next semester. There is no refund for unused meals or Flex Dollars.
