This newly-constructed residence hall community is nestled at the foot of the scenic Austin Bluffs hillside with easy access to hiking and the new campus Recreation Center. The Village at Alpine Valley (VAV) Residence Halls are home to freshmen and other students who enjoy the traditional residence hall experience. Each floor in the Village at Alpine Valley has a large lounge for community gathering, rather than an individual suite common area. The village was constructed with a river theme, and buildings are named after Colorado rivers. Enjoy programs, entertainment and support you won't find at an off campus residence. Students are required to move out of the Village at Alpine Valley residence halls during winter break, though they may leave items in their room during that time. Winter break housing options may be available; check with your RA at the end of the fall semester.
**UCCS on-campus housing rates for the 2018-2019 year are finalized at the University of Colorado Board of Regents meeting in April of 2018.
Students living in all housing areas will have the opportunity to opt in for gender inclusive housing on their housing application. Information and frequently asked questions about Gender Inclusive Housing can be found by clicking here.
