Welcome new and returning residential students to a new academic year at UCCS! We are very excited that you are back on campus!
Stay tuned for more information about move out and break stays, and don't forget to check your UCCS email often for specific informational updates such as sign up forms and important dates.

Here are some important dates for Fall 2023 Term:
- October 27, 2023: Last day to withdraw from full-term session courses via the MyCU portal without Dean/Instructor approval.
- Monday, November 20 - Sunday, November 26: Fall Break - No Classes
- Please note that the following Dining Hours for Fall Break for students who choose to remain on campus for the break.
- Roaring Fork: Closes after Dinner on Sunday, November 19, and reopens on Saturday, November 25 for Brunch.
- The Lodge: Closes after Lunch on Wednesday, November 22, and reopens on Monday, November 27 for Brunch.
- All other Dining Facilities will be closed during Fall Break week.
- There will be a box dinner option for students who need food on Thanksgiving Day and the Friday immediately after Thanksgiving. More information on that option and its cost is forthcoming.
- Please note that the following Dining Hours for Fall Break for students who choose to remain on campus for the break.
- Friday, December 1: Bookings from fall will roll over to Spring term. If you are not returning for spring to UCCS (not enrolling for spring), please submit your cancellation form by this date to avoid an unnecessary spring 2024 booking.
- December 11-14, 2023: Finals Week - Observe the Finals Week Schedule
- Friday, December 15 @ Noon: All students must leave housing for the winter break EXCEPT students residing in Antero, Crestone, and Shavano OR those who have applied for and been approved to stay for winter break.
- Special note: Students residing in Apartment Housing who are not continuing for spring term MUST depart by Friday, December 15 at Noon unless attending graduation. Students graduating should apply for a late stay.
- Dining services will close after lunch on Friday, December 15th. No meal options for students will be available again until January 14 when we reopen for Spring term. Students who apply to stay on campus during the winter break are responsible for their own meals.
