Barbells and Brunch

Have you ever felt overwhelmed or out of place in the weight room? Join Recreation and Wellness female personal trainers, dietitians, and peer educators for this fun and educational event to enhance overall women’s wellness campus. During this event, you will learn proper technique and form for a number of exercises that will build muscle strength and endurance. You will also be introduced to recreation weight lifting equipment and get to practice lifts with a personal trainer helping the whole time! After the workout, all participants will get a free and healthy brunch, with recipes and a talk on how to fuel your future workouts properly!
In an effort to make this as comfortable as possible, we will be conducting this event prior to opening the gym for our regular hours! You won’t want to miss this opportunity to have access to the full weight room!
This event is only open to the first 50 registrants. The first 30 people to register will get a free Barbells and Brunch water bottle!
