In an effort to support the campus community in their outdoor endeavours, SOLE hosts a variety of educational clinics. These clinics are focus on skill and knowledge acquisition in the areas of bicycling, climbing, ski/snowboard maintenance, avalanche awareness and more. Clinics are open to students, faculty, staff, alumni, friends and family. Register on the Campus Recreation Portal - just show up ready to learn, ask questions and meet fellow outdoor enthusiasts! Join SOLE as we shut down the center every Tuesday just for the Ladies! Make friends, climb learn, and enjoy the sport of rock climbing and its amazing camaraderie.

September Learn to Climb Series

SOLE Social

First Thursday of every month in September

Meet fun, like-minded, adventurous individuals at the monthly SOLE Social. We will have music, eat snacks, climb, and mingle!

Learn to Slackline

Come test your core and balance in this free learn to slackline clinic. We will be setup at West Lawn weather pending from 6 to 7:30pm !

Bike Maintenance and Repair

Our student mechanics will take advantage of the SOLE bike shop to teach you the fundamentals of bike repair, such as flat tires, shifting.

October Learn to Climb Series

Learn the basics of map reading, navigation, compass use and more in this entry level orienteering course. Sign-up at SOLE!

Aqualining (Pool Slacklining)

Take slacklining to another level as we traverse the pool! this fun filled event is a guaranteed good time! Pool attire is required!

Night of the Living Deadpoint

Celebrate Halloween in this unique night at the SOLE. Climb chandeliers, books, chairs, floating sheets, and more in the festive tradition.

Knots and Hitches

Learn practical knots for practical applications. We will learn climbing knots, hitches, and more!

12/12 @ 7 pm 

Climbing Competition

Test your climbing skills against other climbers. Prizes will be awarded for each division based on skill level. Register at SOLE!

No Man's Land - Women's Film Festival

Celebrate and support women in our outdoor adventure sports. This inspiring film festival comprised of epic films delves into all facets of outdoor adventure and exploration. Prizes and Give-a-ways so show up early! Tickets required! Pickup at SOLE or ENT. Free for all UCCS Affiliates.
