The Group Fitness program offers a variety of class formats to help you achieve your personal health and fitness goals, and beginners are welcome in all classes. We provide a non-intimidating, group-based environment. Our group fitness instructors are energetic and accommodating, adapting each class to the ability and skill level of its members. Whether you have a taste for cardiovascular, dance, high intensity or mind and body, we have a class for you! Considering being an instructor yourself? Class Descriptions

Please check the Group Fitness schedule for the days and times each class format is offered.

Barre

Barre is the perfect mixture of yoga, dance, Pilates and endurance training. This class is set to the beat of fun music including remixes of today's top hits. This class focuses on isolated muscle movements and offers options for any skill level. You will build muscular strength and endurance in as little as an hour a week.

Bootcamp

Bootcamp is a combination of power, strength, and conditioning. You will burn fat, build a stronger core, and train like an athlete. This class uses functional movement patterns and high intensity intervals to work every muscle. This class focuses on challenging every muscle group and offers options for every skill level.

Bollywood Dance

You will be able to jump right in and follow along in this fun and energetic non-choreographed class. Focus on strength training, cardiovascular exercise, toning and tightening of muscles, agility, flexibility training and mental well-being. Each student can pace themselves based on their fitness level, so all skill levels are welcome.

Boxing

From beginner to advanced, this class focuses on the fundamentals of traditional boxing. Mixed with cardio and strength, you will burn fat, build muscle, and learn how to kick butt. Become a more confident, healthier you by attending a class that will give you the tools necessary to reach your goals.

Cardio Kickboxing

This cardio based class is a fun mix of traditional kickboxing and high intensity intervals. It will help build endurance, improve coordination, and build lean muscle in a fun and challenging workout. It is based on martial arts technique and lead at a fast pace! All levels welcome!

Core and Recovery

A recovery based class using low intensity movements focused towards increasing mobility and flexibility from head to toe. It is a 45 minute class dedicated to core, static stretching, and foam rolling segments.

Cycle

Jump on an indoor cycle bike for this class, which combines endurance and interval training with cadence control to improve cardiovascular fitness. Ride to exhilarating music for 45 minutes, which includes a warm-up, collection of drills, cool down and stretching. No cycling experience required. All skill levels welcome.

HIIT Circuit

HIIT (High-Intensity Interval Training) Circuit combines strength training and endurance for a fun and challenging workout. This class is full of high-energy, athletic circuits with minimal rest periods, and it’s sure to get your heart racing and improve your overall stamina. All skill levels welcome.

Hip Hop Choreo

Hip Hop fitness is a fun and fast-paced cardio class for people of all skill levels. The class focuses on incorporating muscle-toning exercise motions with easy-to-learn, hip hop dance moves, all set to a playlist of upbeat modern music. The first half of the class is simple follow-along steps, and the second half is broken-down, intricate choreography.

Kickboxing

From the beginner learning to train to the competitive fighter, this class focuses on the fundamentals of Muay Thai Kickboxing, the art of 8 limbs. The class focuses on many forms of kicks, elbows, punches, and knees. Fight your way to a more confident, healthier you, with Muay Thai fundamentals mixed with cardio and strength training.

Meditation

This class focuses on finding more self-awareness through reflection, contemplation, and introspection. Center your thoughts to elevate your consciousness. All levels welcome!

Peak Strength

A class structured around high-intensity circuit training that utilizes weighted and unweighted dynamic movements, along with different cardio methods. You will build strength and cardiovascular endurance in as little as an hour a week!

Vinyasa Flow Yoga

The emphasis of this class is to match breathing with movements while the instructor cues a series of poses designed to work and tone the entire body. Gain strength, flexibility, balance and range of motion. All skill levels welcome.

Zumba®

Join the party! Latin-inspired rhythms fused with easy-to-follow choreography, dance moves and intervals create the ultimate 60-minute full body workout. Zumba® is one of the most, if not the most successful dance format in the world, and it’s here to stay. Just dance! Dance! Dance! Instructors are all Zumba® certified. All skill levels welcome.

 

Fall FitPass Price

All Group Fitness classes are free of charge from August 20, 2018 - September 2, 2018. Beginning September 3rd a FitPass is required in order to participate in Group Fitness classes. 

The Fall 2018 FitPass is $20 and can be purchased at our Guest Services desk. This pass gets you into any and all classes on the Group Fitness Fall 2018 schedule. For those who are not interested in purchasing the full FitPass, we do offer a Day FitPass at $2/day.
