Parking & Transportation Services
***Summer 2018 Permits go on sale at 8am on Tuesday, May 15, 2018***
***NOTE: There is no longer a requirement to pick up the physical permit from the Parking Office after purchase. Your license plate is now your permit!!!
Please click HERE to register for a Summer 2018 permit (on May 15 or after) only AFTER reading the below description of all types of permits offered.
***NEW this year: Entering license plate number(s) is now a REQUIREMENT when registering for a permit. You may enter as many as five different license plates under one permit, but only ONE of these vehicles may be parked on campus at the same time. We converted to License Plate Recognition (LPR) during the Spring 2018 semester so license plate information is now required. Unregistered vehicles may result in a citation even though a valid permit was purchased. It is the responsiblility of each permit holder to log into the parking portal and keep their vehicle information current and valid.
For all UCCS parking lots requiring a parking permit, the permit MUST be purchased prior to the first day of each semester. There is NO "grace period." Tickets WILL be written for parking violations the first day of the semester. Please read the following information regarding parking options. Owning a permit, without registering the license plate, will result in a ticket. Most permits we sell are valid for the summer semester only and will expire August 3, 2018 (unless explicitly stated otherwise).

Cars violating parking regulations will be subject to ticket and/or immobilization. Parking is on a first-come, first-served basis. Purchasing a permit entitles you to park in certain parking lots on campus. YOU ARE NOT PURCHASING A RESERVED PARKING SPACE. Direct all inquiries concerning parking to Parking Services at 719-255-3528.
Free parking options are available. See non-permit restricted parking areas below.

Commuter Students who do not purchase a parking permit may park in any 500 series lots located at and near the Ent Center for the Arts complex, 5225 North Nevada Avenue. No permit is required. The student Safety and Transportation fee provides students with free shuttle service to and from the Ent Center for the Arts complex to the main campus.
Student Safety and Transportation Fee
All students are automatically charged a Safety and Transportation fee. This fee is not a parking fee and is not used for parking facilities. This fee is used to provide enhanced police services and shuttle services from far parking lots to the campus. The fee for the Summer 2018 semester is $47.00.
University Hall (Lot 100) and the Ent Center for the Arts complex (near Lot 576) are serviced by a shuttle system to get students to the main campus. Campus shuttles run fall, spring, and summer semesters only from 6:40 a.m. to 10:35 p.m. Monday-Friday. If you plan to park at the Ent Center for the Arts, please see the shuttle schedule. Due to increased demand on this system, students parking at the Ent Center for the Art area parking lots should anticipate arriving 30 minutes prior to the start of their first class.
Shuttle service from Centennial Hall to University Hall: For detailed information on shuttle service to and from University Hall and Centennial Hall, please see the on-line shuttle schedule under the TRANSPORTATION tab.
