Did you know?  There is NO LONGER a need to pick up the physical permit from Parking Office after purchasing a permit.  The vehicle license plate IS the parking permit!

Fall 2018 Employee Permit Registration

Attention UCCS faculty and staff:  IMPORTANT PERMIT INFO

Fall 2018 parking permits will be available beginning Tuesday, August 7, 2018 at 8am.  Please use link listed at the bottom of this page to register anytime on or after August 7, 2018!

***NEW this year:  Permit registration is now required for the free (500 series) parking lots.  Parking in 500 series lots is still free to faculty & staff, but permit registration is now required effective this year (Fall 2018). For those purchasing a permit for the main campus or border lots, you won't need to register for a 500 series lot... your purchased permit is good in your respective permitted lot(s) as well as the 500 series lots.

1. All permits must be paid for one of two ways: 1) online or 2) at the UCCS Parking Office.

2. We request that ALL employees log into the new online parking portal on the parking website to purchase their virtual permit.  Employees may also purchase their permit in person at the Parking Office, but we recommend that you use the online parking portal.  In this portal, employees may purchase permits, pay or appeal parking citations, and add additional registered vehicles to their virtual permit.

3. After purchasing the virtual permit and registering up to 5 vehicle license plates, permit registration is complete.  Effective Spring 2018 semester, employees no longer need to come into the Parking Office to pick up a physical static-cling parking permit.  Again, physical permits are NO LONGER required to be displayed on your vehicle's front windshield, as we are now completely reliant upon our new License Plate Reader (LPR) system.  Due to this change, it is vital that each employee purchasing a permit log into the Parking Portal as necessary to keep their vehicle(s) and license plate(s) current and valid.

4. New employees MUST have an employee ID # already issued by HR in order to log into the parking portal or purchase a permit in person at the Parking Office.

5. Entering license plate number(s) is now a REQUIREMENT. You may enter as many as five different license plates under one virtual permit, but only ONE of these vehicles may be parked on campus in a permit-restricted lot at any given time.  Motorcycles can be one of the five registered vehicles, but they must be parked in dedicated motorcycle parking areas only.

6. The following payment methods will be accepted in the parking portal:·

     · Credit Card (Visa, MasterCard, Discover, and American Express)
     · Permit fee may be deducted from your paycheck on a monthly basis. The deduction will be divided evenly over the number of months left in the semester(s) for which the permit is valid.  If you need an a alternate payment plan, you must come into the Parking Office to purchase the permit and fill out a manual payroll deduction form.

The following payment methods will be available at the Parking Office:

    · Credit card (Visa, MasterCard, Discover, and American Express)
    · Cash, check, or money order
    · Permit fee may be deducted from your paycheck on a monthly basis.  The deduction will be divided evenly over the number of months left in the semester(s) for which the permit is valid.  If you need an a alternate payment plan, you must come into the Parking Office to purchase the permit and fill out a manual payroll deduction form.

7. Parking Services is open Monday - Friday from 8a-5p.  Again, even if you purchase the virtual permit via online, there is NO LONGER any need to come to Parking Services to pick up a physical static-cling permit.  We are completely reliant upon our new License Plate Reader (LPR) system, so it is your responsibility to make sure you enter your parking portal as needed to add, edit, or delete any vehicles you may drive to campus.
