Professional Summary

Dr. Judith Long joined the Trauma, Health and Hazards Center at UCCS in September 2011 to assist in supervising and managing the Peer Support Program with the Colorado Springs Fire Department (CSFD). Dr. Long has been teaching undergraduate and graduate level courses in the UCCS Psychology Department since 2014.

Professional Experience

Dr. Long provides clinical support and assistance concerning a grant for researching secondary traumatic stress and burnout. In addition, she currently maintains a private practice in Colorado Springs. She specializes in the treatment of trauma. Prior to her career at UCCS, she was the Director of Outpatient Services at the Warrior Support Center where behavioral health services were provided to active-duty and retired military with post-traumatic stress.
