Jeffrey Scholes holds a B.A. from Baylor University in Biology, an M.Div. from Princeton Theological Seminary, and a Ph.D. from the University of Denver/Iliff School of Theology in Religious and Theological Studies. His areas of specialization are Christian Political Theology and the intersection of Religion and Sports. He has published two books in these areas respectively and is currently working on a book on Race, Religion and Sports. He is the founding director of the Center for Religious Diversity and Public Life at UCCS and is the Section Editor for Christianity, Religious Compass.
