"I am not just interested in what philosophy alone can do for society or science, but see it that at this juncture in history, philosophy must turn willingly to science, sociology, psychology and other disciplines in order to progress most meaningfully within my lifetime. The Society for Social Studies of Science has this belief at its foundation and I too see the conference wrought with potential growth for myself as a student. "

Molly Padilla

Molly Padilla

History Ambassador

Biographical Information

Currently serving on the Humanities Committee and the Springs In Bloom Committee

Hello! My name is Molly Padilla. I am a history major in secondary education at UCCS. I chose this field for two reasons. First, while living abroad I discovered how much I loved history. Second, I have always had a passion for children. Since I've volunteered for many years in the classroom setting, I thought why not get paid for something I enjoy. I chose to be a LAS Ambassador for a few reasons: to build a foundation for future students, to provide an extended network for non-traditional students like myself and for those with ties to the military.
