iTunes U

Overview

Broadly, iTunes U provides free higher-education curriculum based audio and visual content to anyone with an iTunes compatible device from the iTunes store. For PC/OS X and iOS users, iTunes U attempts to provide a complete solution for building classroom lessons and lectures, assigning and grading class work and homework, support for discussion groups, and other features using the iTunes U application (separate from the iTunes store) with a compatible device.

* Allow course creation, building, and student tracking through the iTunes U app (only compatible with PC/Mac and iOS)

Benefits

Allows most of all features and capabilities of what a class room requires to be managed through one consolidated system - iTunes U, with the largest drawback of being restricted to Apple iTunes' compatible devices.

What Is Included With This Service?

* Any device capable of running iTunes can access the free audio/visual content through the iTunes store.

* To access classroom management features, an iCloud account connected to a compatible device is required, whether that device be a PC, Mac computer, or iOS device (iPad or iPhone).
