Computers for Faculty and Staff

Overview

We are available to consult for purchasing assistance with computers, printers, and monitors. When you are ready to place your order, you will do so through your department admin or through the CU M@rketplace inside of your UCCSPortal.

Benefits

The IT Help Desk has tested these models and they are fully compatible with UCCS applications and network. These machines come with a standard 3 year parts and labor warranty. If you have any problems with one of these computers contact the IT Help Desk and we will arrange all warranty work with Dell or Apple and give you a loaner computer to use while repairs are being done. The IT Help Desk is also able to provide faster response times with initial setups and rebuilding of your computer when these recommended computers are purchased.

How Long Does It Take To Get This Service?

  • Once your order is placed all of your equipment will be shipped directly to you
  • If you ordered a desktop, laptop, or tablet; the IT Help Desk can image the device(s)
    • Please allow up to 3 days for completion on recommended device(s)
    • Please allow up to 2 weeks for non-recommended device(s)

Please note that newer laptops are slimmer forms that may require an additional purchase for wired-ethernet connections, USB ports, and external connection capability (monitors and projectors).
