The UCCS-Guest wireless network provides a wireless connection nearly everywhere on campus. This network is available to all guests (or those users without a UCCS username and password) with varying levels of access and duration. UCCS-Guest allows guests of UCCS to gain access through an easy single-click access portal.
One of the goals of the wireless team is to provide wireless to any device, anytime and anywhere. The UCCS-Guest wireless network will provide a coffee shop like experience or Single-click-access onto the network. Devices will have access to the Internet and UCCS Internet accessible services. Additional features of the Captive Portal will be rolled out for UCCS Students, Faculty and Staff to administrate getting other devices like gaming consoles or IoT devices onto the wireless network.
