On May 28, 2019, the Office of Information Technology rolled out a new wireless service called eduroam. This new service is now visible on devices that are Wi-Fi compatible. eduroam is the preferred encrypted wireless option for UCCS travelers, plus it is free, dependable, secure, and available at over 6100 locations worldwide!
eduroam (education roaming) has been a widely requested service and will allow Students, Faculty, Researchers, and Staff to connect to the internet, on other participating campuses and institutions, simply by opening their laptop or unlocking their device.
In order to use this service at other locations, we recommend you first connect your device to eduroam while on UCCS grounds, using your UCCS email account and password (example: firstname.lastname@example.org). For further instructions please visit our website and provide feedback here.
