Tim Little

 

Tim Little is the PAVE Team Lead as well as the President of the UCCS Student Veteran Organization. Tim served as a medic in the Army for over six years in multiple capacities. He possesses an Associate's degree in Health Sciences, and currently is pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Geography & Environmental Studies. Ultimately, Tim hopes to acquire a Master's degree in the Student Affairs in Higher Education (SAHE) program here at University of Colorado Colorado Springs. In his spare time, he charity cycles and volunteers with local veteran organizations.

Ryan Dobbs

 

Ryan Dobbs is the Military and Veteran Orientation Welcome Leader for the Office of Military and Veteran Student Affairs. He was a medic in the Army for four year and was in the 10th MTN, in the 4th battalion 31st Infantry at Fort Drum, NY. After getting out of the service he moved to Colorado to go to school at UCCS, and for the plethora of outdoor activities that Colorado has to offer. Currently he is a junior in the nursing program at UCCS. So far, he has completed a psychology minor and is currently working on a pre-med minor. He works at the Office of Veteran and Military Student Affairs at UCCS, and in the summertime he is also a white water raft guide for Peterson Air Force Base's outdoor recreation program.

Donghee Kim

 

Donghee Kim is a PAVE advisor, an officer for the Student Veteran Organization, as well as a Student Benefits Processor for the Office of Veteran and Military Student Affairs. Mr. Kim possesses an Associate's degree from Pikes Peak Community College. After serving over seven years in the United States Army as a Non-Commissioned Officer, he enrolled at the University of Colorado Colorado Springs and is currently pursuing his Bachelor's degree in Sociology. After graduation, he hopes to earn his Master's degree in Counseling with the ultimate goal of becoming an advocate and counselor for Post Traumatic Stress Disorder victims.

Austin Blewer

 

Austin Blewer is an officer for the UCCS Student Veteran Organization, as well as a Student Benefits Processor for the Office of Veteran and Military Student Affairs. Having served over seven years in the United States Army, he enrolled at the University of Colorado Colorado Springs and is pursuing a Bachelor's of Innovation degree in Game Design, with further emphasis in dual minors of Computer Science, and Art.  Mr. Blewer's combination of life experiences from the culinary industry, the United States Army, and post Army life has brought him to UCCS to further influence the combination of Gaming & Art into a modern medium.

Charles Yoo

 

 

Charles Yoo served as a U.S. Navy Hospital Corpsman during his six years of military service. He has worked in Navy Emergency Medicine throughout his career in conjunction with Marine Corps Infantry units. Mr. Yoo is enrolled at UCCS and is pursuing a double Bachelor's degree in Biology and Anthropology, with the ultimate goal of achieving his Physician's Assistant License to continue his practice in medicine. He is also an officer for the UCCS Student Veteran Organization. After obtaining his Service Dog, Tiff, through "K9's for Warriors", Mr. Yoo is advocating for the provision of Service Dogs for Military Veterans returning to civilian life.

Shane Lisius

 

Shane Lisius is an officer for the UCCS Student Veteran Organization, as well as a Student Benefits Processor for the Office of Veteran and Military Student Affairs. Shane possesses a Bachelor's degree from the University of Texas at Austin. After serving over seven years in the US Army as an Infantry Captain in multiple positions both overseas & stateside, he enrolled at UCCS and to pursue a Bachelor's in Biomedical Sciences & Biochemistry, with an intent for Medical School. Shane seeks to assist veterans with an emphasis in neurology, in order to give back to those who have already given much.

Lucas Prall

 

Lucas Prall is the Events Coordinator for the Student Veteran Organization, as well as a Student Benefits Processor for the Office of Veteran and Military Student Affairs. Mr. Prall possesses two Associate's degrees from Pikes Peak Community College; an Associate in Applied Science in Natural Resource Technology and an Associate in Arts.  Lucas currently serves as a Reservist while going to school for a Bachelor's degree in Geography and Environmental Studies to become a Wildlife Manager with the US Fish & Wildlife Service.

Kirstin Chaney

 

Kristin Chaney was born in Colorado Springs at the United States Air Force Academy, however, she calls Texas home.  After graduating from high school in El Paso, Texas, she served nine years of active duty enlistment in the United States Air Force.  The first five years were in a medical admin position and the last four were in command and control.  She is pursuing Bachelor of Arts degrees in Geography & Environmental Studies and Anthropology with a minor in History.  On her free time, she enjoys spending time with her husband and three children ages 12, 10, and 6.

Brandon Moore

 

Brandon Moore served four years as a 19D in the U.S Army. He is currently a junior at UCCS majoring in the Game Design and Development within the BI program. For three years, he has studied to become an indie game developer and work on his own startup company. His main hobby in life is video games. He enjoys playing most types of games and wants to expand the gaming industry. One way he is doing that is leading the e-Sports club on campus. This club competes in tournaments for scholarships, money, and gear. He built that club to become a community of gamers on campus that can rely on each other.
