Veteran Tutoring Program: Tutor Introductions
Math Tutor - Greg Christ
Tutoring time: Tuesday 12:30 PM - 2:00 PM
Hi! I'm Greg. I have a bachelor's degree in philosophy and criminal justice from the University of North Florida. I discovered my love for math through symbolic logic while pursuing my philosophy degree. I have served five years in the Marine Corps as a Navy corpsman after finishing my first set of undergraduate degrees. After exiting the military, I decided to return to school to study electrical engineering. In addition to being a tutor for the Math Center, I am also a philosophy tutor the Communication Center.
Writing Tutor - Heather Bergh
Tutoring time: 10:00 AM - 12:00 PM
I'm Heather, a Colorado transplant, thanks to the U.S. Army. As a WEST and History dual major, my interests involve women's history--from witchcraft to women's rights. After my time at UCCS, I'm excited to pursue my Masters in Library Sciences. My favorite things are critical analysis, researching, and Chicago Style citations. I'm here for fellow veterans struggling with writing or brainstorming!
