PAVE Program

Books for Battle Buddies

Veteran and Military Affairs has a new and exciting program! Our Books for Battle Buddies program will take your used books and lend them to other students in need.

Adaptive Leadership Certificate

This program is designed to be a flexible education pathway for military service-members in the Pikes Peak region. It complements and enhances service-members' Professional Military Education (PME) by delving more deeply into critical thinking and leader fundamentals. Success in the course sequence includes the acquisition of relevant professional knowledge leading to advancement, greater opportunities for new roles and promotion. Additional outcomes include building credits towards a BA degree at UCCS and employment potential upon separation.

Boots to Suits

The Boots to Suits program provides student veterans opportunities to gain a better understanding of the work environments they will enter the following completion of their studies.

Veteran Tutoring Program

VMA and Excel Centers want to increase the academic resources for active duty, veteran, and military-connected students on campus. Tutors selected for the Student Veteran Program are either former military, military-affiliated and non-traditional students. They are excited to work with military students.
