English Proficiency Requirements

All students applying to any of the mathematics graduate programs at UCCS, whose native language is not English, must demonstrate their English language proficiency through one of the following three means before they are able to enroll in classes at the university.

Students who meet any of the following conditions are exempt from the English language proficiency requirement.

  1. Holding a bachelor's degree from a US accredited institution where teaching is conducted in English.
  2. Being a citizen of a country whose first/official language is English, and having completed undergraduate work in that country.
