After you graduate from UCCS, the library is still here to support your life-long learning.
Get Your Alumni Library Card
All UCCS alumni can get an alumni library card to continue to check out books, movies, and other library items. You can even still request items through Prospector so you still have access to getting items from other libraries in Colorado!
Simply present a photo ID at the Library's Circulation Desk. We'll verify your alumni status and give you a new card.
Accessing Online Library Resources
Due to licensing restrictions, alumni cannot access the Library's eBooks, online journals and databases from off campus.
However, anyone can physically come into the Library to access these resources. There are computers designed as Public Access computer stations. These computers do not require a login and can access most of the electronic resources available to UCCS affiliates.
Public Access computers are located by the Research Assistance Desk and on the third floor at the top of the main staircase.
There are also numerous freely available research tools you can find on our Publicly Available Database list.
Keep Your Refworks Account
You can still access your Refworks account like you always do Just remember you cannot access the Library's eBooks, online journals and databases from off campus. Any PDFs you uploaded into your Refworks will still be accessible to you.
Research Assistance Desk
The Research Assistance Desk continues to be here to answer your research related needs. Go to our Get Help page to see how to contact the Research Assistance Desk.
