In this growing globally-engaged world, those with the greatest understanding of different cultures and languages are the most successful! Conversation table times are a great opportunity to practice your language skills and increase your cultural competence without enrolling in a course. Practice, practice, practice! Come interact with fellow language learners and engage in lively discussions about language, culture, and travel. International students are also welcome to join and practice their English skills while supporting the language skills of others.
Conversation Tables Schedule for Fall 2017. Hours may be adjusted based on input and requests from faculty, staff, and students.
SPAN 1010 & 1020: Mondays 10-11am (in-person, Skype, or WebEx)

ASL (American Sign Language)
1000-2000 level: Tuesdays 12:30-1:30pm
3000+ level: Wednesday 12:30-1:30pm
All Levels: Wednesday 11am-Noon
Mahjong & Conversation: Friday 4-6pm
All Levels: Tuesdays 1-2pm and Fridays 11am-Noon.
1000 level: Tuesday 8-9am & Friday Noon-1pm
2000 level: Friday 1-2pm
3000+ level: Tuesday 2-3pm

*Anyone wanting to enhance their English Languages Skills is invited to utilize our English Language tutors. You do not have to be enrolled in an ESL or IEP class. These sessions are ideal for ALL international students who desire to improve their English communication skills (written and verbal).
