Bio

Christina Martinez - Academic Librarian, UCCS Kraemer Family Library

As an academic librarian, Christina has held several positions since coming to UCCS 1977. She earned her masters in library science from University of Denver and worked at Arizona State University prior to coming to UCCS. Christina provides research assistance in addition to her administrative responsibilities. She is a liaison to the Communication, English, and Languages and Cultures departments and provides classroom instruction on how to conduct library research. 

Christina's service record at UCCS includes: multiple roles in faculty governance, numerous search committees, and other campus committees. Past community volunteer work includes: the District 11 Foundation, the Pikes Peak Justice and Peace Commission, the Pikes Peak Regional group of the Jane Austen Society of America, and AFS Intercultural programs.
