How Do I Change or Stop the Service?

End the Wi-Fi connection on your device's Wi-Fi settings.

Full Access

In order to have Full Access on the UCCS-Wireless network an install of a small, extremely lightweight client known as Safeconnect is required. SafeConnect itself does not enforce any policies on your device, but rather checks to make sure that your Operating System is up-to-date, and that you have some form of anti-virus and anti-spyware program installed. The process of downloading and installing the program typically takes under a minute. Once SafeConnect is installed, you will either be granted Full Access or will be directed to instructions explaining how to update your computer to be in full compliance.

Limited Access

For those that do not wish to install SafeConnect, picking this option will grant access to the network but with several restrictions. Basic web browsing is allowed (HTTP and HTTPS), along with off-campus SSH and VPN connections.
