Childcare - The Family Development Center offers UCCS students, faculty, and staff child care services for children ranging from age 1 year to 12 years. The goal of the center is to assist children in building their self-esteem and encourage curiosity and enthusiasm. The center is staffed by highly qualified teachers trained in early childhood development and education.
Employee and Dependent Tuition Benefit - Permanent employees are eligible for a tuition benefit of up to nine credit hours per academic year to be used either by the employee or an immediate family member in undergraduate status.
Employee Discounts - The Work-Life Employee Discount Program offers state employees a variety of product and service discounts.
Employee Leave Programs - 12-Month Faculty, University Staff, and Classified Staff earn annual and sick leave. 9-Month Faculty are also eligible for a sick leave benefit.
Health, Fitness, and Wellness - The Campus Recreation Center is a 54,000 square foot facility featuring a two court gymnasium with an elevated running track, a state of the art fitness center, an indoor pool with 4 lap lanes and a leisure swimming area including a slide and hot tub, a 12-foot bouldering wall, and an aerobics and dance room. Additionally, the University of Colorado at Colorado Springs collaborates with numerous local fitness centers to offer UCCS employees discounted rates.
