**A "dedicated" Honors section is a course that a student may enroll in that is reserved for UCCS Honors students only. For a course to be a "designated" Honors course, a student may enroll in any course for Honors credit by requesting permission to do so from the faculty member teaching the course and by arranging distinctive course requirements with the faculty member teaching the course. To "designate" a course for Honors, the student and faculty member work collaboratively to develop an Honors Learning Contract.
