Friday, August 11
9am – 5pm

Open to the first 25 artists, the event is free. 
to register:

Paint on the beautiful Heller Center grounds.

View an exhibit of Larry Heller’s paintings.

Engage in a group critique with local artist Chris Alvarez.

Meet the curator and other Heller Center board members.


9:00 – 9:30am Meet for coffee & bagels. Receive instructions & directions.
9:30am – noon Begin plein air painting.
12:00 – 1:00pm Lunch and presentation from Heller Center Curator, Rhonda Goodman-Gaghan.
1:00 – 3:00pm Continue painting on the grounds.
3:00 – 5:00pm Gather for wine and cheese and a group critique with local artist/instructor, Chris Alvarez.

Other Information

Bring your own lunch and bottles for water (water will be available). Indoor facilities will be available at the Greenhouse.  If inclement weather, painting will be possible inside the Heller Main House.  Given the terrain, light hiking shoes and long pants are recommended.
