This course explores the intersection of the mind and society with a focus on how we think, learn, and live. Topics of discussion are designed to investigate the role of ambiguity and complexity in the gray spaces of human endeavor. Specific areas of focus include: complex systems; virtual reality; trauma and its representation; the Nazis-war, genocide and identity.
