Each year, the Gateway Program Seminar strives to provide all GPS instructors with professional development. As such, GPS holds a faculty development retreat. This year, the retreat will be held at UCCS on Wednesday, May 16 and Thursday, May 17. The retreat will be held in Kettle Creek, adjacent to the Roaring Fork Dining Hall. More information on the topics of the 2018 Retreat is below:
Additionally, many of our GPS faculty teach in the University Studies Program here at UCCS. University Studies exists to provide students with excellent academic and transitional support services as new members of the UCCS campus community. University Studies is a brand-new experience designed to help students achieve their academic and co-curricular goals while exploring more about themselves and creating their professional and personal futures. Those courses include: Leadershop, Finding Your Way: Healthcare, Finding Your Way: Business, Finding Your Way: STEM, Finding Your Way: Engineering, and Finding Your Way: Social Science. GPS holds and information debrief session each December.
