ABOUT THE SPEAKERS

Brother Luck  is the owner and executive chef of Brother Luck Street Eats. He was served as the executive chef  many resturants, including the Craftwood Inn restaurant in Manitou Springs, Las Ramblas in San Antonio, and World of Whirlpool in Chicago. He was a guest chef at the famous James Beard House in New York City. With all of the culinary journeys Brother Luck experienced throughout his career,  he decided to go back to the basics; stove, burner, food, customer. Urban Cuisine is the approach he showcases in the street food presented inside the walls his restaurant, focusing on good ingredients, proper techniques, and great memories for patrons.

Amanda Bowman  teaches inorganic chemistry at Colorado College. She received her PhD in chemistry from Cornell University. Her research focuses on the chemical element cobalt, known for its distinct blue color.
