Cerian Gibbes is an associate professor at the University of Colorado Colorado Springs. Cerian received her PhD from the University of Florida in 2011. Her work examines social and ecological impacts of land use land cover change, climate-land interactions, and human-environment dynamics at the interface of agriculture and conservation. She studies these processes across multiple scales, using geospatial technologies, and mixed methods approaches, with regional foci on southern Africa, Latin America, and the Caribbean.
