Quentin has been at UCCS since 2004, teaching classes in rhetoric and writing as well as in literature, with a concentration on American literature in the 19 and 20th centuries. He has published some 15 articles on American literature; the latest was on Bernard Malamud's novel The Assistant, which appeared in the book Critical Insights: The American Dream
