Faculty/Staff Information Sessions

We encourage Faculty and Staff to consider their role in real world education by thinking about experiential travel classes abroad! Faculty and Staff-directed study abroad helps achieve experiential learning by expanding on traditional classroom teaching methods and bringing students directly in contact with the world in which they will be entering after graduating. Generally, two information sessions for faculty and staff are held each semester to cover everything from initial idea stages of planning a program to getting abroad with your class. Each attendee will also receive a comprehensive handbook with proposal pieces. Faculty and staff can also use this time to visit with each other to expand and collaborate on programs abroad.
